Oh my goodness, what a wonderful find! We were in the area from out of town and I had simply searched for breakfast in Owosso. Joe-Lee's came up first in the list, why would we pass up a place with a 4.9 rating? And the descriptions of it being tricky to find are quite accurate, be committed to the task! This place is the definition of small and cozy. If you were looking for a quiet corner to read your paper and have your meal then this is not the choice for you. There are less than 10 tables and those are pretty tightly packed in. Conversation between the tables was constant, friendly and welcoming. The owner was managing the floor and she is a gregarious delightful prize in her own right. And, most importantly aside from all that, the food was excellent. I had a basic breakfast of fried eggs, hash browns , bacon and toast . Not only was everything quite tasty, well prepared and in good portions, but it really struck me how everything was still warm, including the toast. Someone back in the kitchen has really perfected getting everything out at the same time. My wife had biscuits and gravy , a personal favorite that she is a very tough judge on, and she declared them among the best she's had. So if you are in the area give yourself a present and be sure and stop by this gem. Be aware that they are only open till mid afternoon.
My friends had a burger which looked very good and the blueberry pancakes which were huge. I had fried eggs over easy with fried tomatoes. Very well prepared. Service was excellent. Small place but fun environment. Definitely would go again.
Definitely was interesting the fries were amazing but we weren't sure if we just sit down or wait to get a table, and the waitress didn't come over with the menus for at least 10 minutes as we sat there. With 3 other tables that were regulars for sure. Felt like we needed a plane to be inside lol. I guess no sign outside meant we don't want people coming in. I will try anything once. Give it a shot might be your thing.
People had been telling me how good this place was for a few years and I finally was able to try it for myself. I was extremely pleased with how friendly All the staff were as well as the customers. It is a small quaint little place at the airport where it's a family feel. They care about the food they put out and customers opinions. Everything was fresh and portion size was unbelievable! You will not leave here hungry but that's for sure. You awesome get the experience of watching airplanes land and take off. Just a really cool little place that I will be going to a lot more often now.
Food and service were great! It's a charming little building on the edge of the local airport, and you can look out the window while you eat and see the tarmac right outside.
Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Seating is limited, so not a great idea for big groups. Going alone may mean meeting some new folks at a shared table.
What a little hidden gem for breakfast and lunch right on the owasso airport. Almost on the runway. Lived in Owosso all my life and didn't know about this restaurant till we did some Google searches. Well worth it for the visit. The food and the service was excellent.
Hidden gem, will definitely return. The best blueberry pancakes I've had in a very long time. Think they cut them out with garbage can lid (they're huge). Friend that flew in with me had a burger and was also impressed. Service was top notch and very friendly.
